Position Overview

AWN Consulting is seeking an organised and motivated Junior HR & Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day delivery of HR and operational activities across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience while developing their skills within a growing multidisciplinary consultancy.

Responsibilities

HR Administration & Coordination

  • Provide administrative support across a range of HR activities.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring employee records are maintained accurately.
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters and other routine HR documentation.
  • Maintain employee data and HR systems, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate probation reviews and other employee lifecycle activities.
  • Schedule interviews, meetings and training sessions.
  • Support recruitment administration, including posting vacancies, arranging interviews and communicating with candidates.
  • Assist with the administration of learning and development activities and training records.
  • Respond to routine employee queries and direct employees to the appropriate person where required.

Operations Support

  • Provide administrative support for day-to-day business operations.
  • Assist with the coordination of new starter equipment, system access and workplace setup.
  • Support office and facilities management activities.
  • Coordinate company meetings, events and staff communications.
  • Assist with marketing tasks and social media management
  • Liaise with suppliers and service providers as required.
  • Assist with maintaining operational records and documentation.
  • Support the administration and continuous improvement of internal processes and systems.

Reporting & Projects

  • Assist with the preparation of reports and business data.
  • Support HR and Operations projects and initiatives.
  • Contribute ideas for improving processes and administrative efficiency.
  • Undertake additional administrative tasks as required.

Essential Requirements

  • 1-2 years administrative experience, with a focus on HR
  • Proficiency using Microsoft office applications, particularly Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Experience using HR, recruitment or business systems
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion & professionalism
  • Comfortable using AI and other digital tools to support day-to-day work activities.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in evolving environments, balancing multiple priorities, and adapting to shifting organisational needs
  • Ability to commute to our Dublin office 2-3 days per week
