Iain Williams (BSc, MSc, DIC, P.Geo, C.Geol, Eur.Geol). Iain Williams is a Senior Consultant within the AWN Consulting Environmental Team. He holds a BSc in Geology from Manchester University, a MSc in Mineral exploration from Imperial College London, and an MSc in Environmental Hydrogeology from University of Wales Cardiff. He is an Accredited Professional Geologist with the Geological Society of London, with the Institute of Geologists of Ireland, and with the European Federation of Geologists. He is also included on the Institute of Geologists of Ireland Specialist Register for persons deemed competent to sign off on hydrogeological assessments of landfill and contaminated land investigations. Iain has over thirty years of experience as a geo-environmental scientist in both industrial and consultancy sectors. He specialises in environmental hydrogeology, contaminated land and groundwater assessment, waste classification, construction ground and storm water management, construction and extractive industry environmental management, and extractive industry geology.
